The Corowa Aquatic Centre team are delighted to announce that the Corowa Splash Park is set to open from Friday, September 24 to Sunday, September 26 in celebration of the school holiday period.

Although the permanent opening of the Splash Park is not set to occur until the summer season commencing on November 1, with the warmer weather prediction on the weekend, the CAC team have decided to run a special school holiday promotion.

Corowa Aquatic Centre's Duty Officer of Public Pools, Jo Laws said the team were looking forward to opening the Splash Park over the weekend for young people to come and try, just before the summer season.

“The splash park is a colourful area located between the main building and the grass by the outdoor pool,” she said.

“This gives parents and guardians a comfortable spot to sit and watch while the kids play on the equipment, enjoy the mini water slide and squeal as the dump bucket tips a drenching of water at regular intervals. With school holidays upon us, we have been welcoming so many youngsters already, and the enthusiasm from them and requests to use the Splash Park have been consistent. We see this promo as a perfect way to add to the great experiences on offer these school holidays at our Centre.”

The Splash Park, Indoor Heated Pool and Café will be open on Friday from 7am – 11am and 2.30pm – 6.30pm, and on Saturday 8am - 2pm and Sunday from 10am-4pm.

A child casual entry fee is $5.00 and a family casual entry fee, which consists of two adults and two children, or one adult and three children is $18.50.

Be the first to come and enjoy the Splash Park these school holidays - we hope to see you there!
